Udom Uko Inoyo unwavering commitment to support his community and empower institutions to eradicate poverty through education inspired him to convert a part of his home in Ikot Okoro to a community library in 2008. He has always held the view that the participation of today’s young persons in the 21st century is dependent on the quality of education they acquire, the capacity of teachers and the management of public schools in Nigeria.

“Vision, clarity of purpose, integrity and service are the ingredients for purposive leadership” - Udom Inoyo

In his words, ‘access to the right information would change our people’s perspective. If we don’t help our communities, we would pay a far cruel price.’ The facility which serves the underserved pupils and students in and around Ikot Okoro is a testament to his passion as nothing is as empowering and liberating as education and nothing is as perilous as the absence of it.
