Uyo Metropolitan Lions Club honored Mr. Udom Inoyo with Outstanding Service Award. The foremost humanitarian organization acknowledged Mr. Inoyo’s trail blazing performance at Exxonmobil where he recently retired as Vice Chairman after years of meritorious service.

The investiture took place during the Club’s Gala, Investiture and Award ceremony. Although Inoyo could not personally attend, the Award was received by Barr. Abasumo Ekong Bassey on his behalf. Receiving the Award, Inoyo thanked the President, members of the Executive and all members of Uyo Metropolitan Lions Club for counting him deserving of the honor. He remarked that the Lions Club as a humanitarian organization has performed tremendously in serving society across the world and expressed happiness with a promise to identify with the activities of the Club whenever called upon. Acknowledging the prevalence of diabetes in the country and the need to enlighten the public on its management, Inoyo felt touched by the import of taking this year’s awareness campaign to Nsit Ubium by the Club and encouraged them to keep up the good work.
